Certified NACC Glazing Contractor
Empirehouse is proud to be the first Certified NACC Architectural Glass and Metal Contractor in the Midwest to ensure quality and safety by national standards.
On April 22, 2016, the North American Contractor Certification (NACC) Program certified that Empirehouse, Inc. has met the Program requirements in Interior and Entry Systems; Building Envelope – Low Rise; Building Envelope – High Rise; and Active Glass, and that Empirehouse has worked through a detailed evaluation which explored Company Business Practices; Safety Protocol; Quality Management Systems; Contract Administrative Processes; and Glazing Processes.
The NACC Program for Architectural Glass & Metal Contractors is awarded to contractors who demonstrate consistency, quality and safety excellence. The NACC Program requirements are established by a Certification Board of AG&M contractors, industry experts, and end user stakeholders and is formally accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to the globally-recognized ISO/IEC17065:2012 standard. As part of ANSI’s ongoing annual accreditation process, an assessor witnesses the administration of the NACC Program at the contractor’s organization for added accountability.
“We believe knowledge from the Industry makes the best certification program,” said NACC Representative Jeff Dalaba. “Certification raises the quality bar.”
The NACC Program certifies that industry-identified best practices and a quality management system have been properly implemented.
“Having this in-depth NACC program not only validates what we do, but it provides a guideline to say what we do, do what we say and prove it,” said Empirehouse General Manager James Bringle.

Empirehouse Earns Second Phase of NACC Certification Meeting National Quality and Safety Standards.
The second year assessment of Empirehouse’s certification process with the North American Contractor Certification (NACC) was held April 13-14, 2017. The audit conducted by Administrative Management Systems, Inc. (AMS), and overseen by an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) auditor, took place at the Empirehouse corporate office and production plant where metal frames were being fabricated, and at the Mystic Lake Hotel and Convention Center job site while our glazing team installed frames and glass.
Empirehouse Leadership, our Safety & Quality Manager, and one of our Lead Foreman met with AMS and ANSI auditors to review the Empirehouse Safety Program, Quality Program, Project Management processes, Fabrication and Field Management processes, Material Handling, and Job Staging processes.
Becoming a Certified NACC Glazing Contractor is a thorough and time-intensive undertaking, but it assures our clients that Empirehouse is committed to national quality and safety standards to deliver their architectural glass and metal needs with consistency and in a timely manner.
Empirehouse is the first Certified NACC Architectural Glass & Metal Contractor in the Midwest to meet national standards that receive ANSI’s confirmation in accordance with ISO / IEC 17065.
