2017 MCA Subcontractor Project of the Year: U of M Microbiology Research Facility

During the 21st Minnesota Contractor Association (MCA) Awards of Excellence held Wednesday, January 25, Empirehouse received 2017 MCA Subcontractor/Specialty Contractor Project of the Year for their specialty glass and glazing work on the U of M Microbiology Research Facility. Empirehouse was among six other entries in the Subcontractor/Specialty Contractor category.

Receiving the award were members from Empirehouse with the General Contractor and Architect who worked on this project: Mortenson Construction and BWBR Architects.

Empirehouse Certified NACC Architectural Glass & Metal Contractor Mall of America

In addition, Empirehouse won a Merit award for their Architectural glass and metal contractor work on the Mall of America expansion project awarded by Mortenson Construction.

Also honored during the MCA Awards of Excellence is Alana Sunness Griffith, FCSI, CCPR of Empirehouse who received the 2017 MCA Member of the Year award.
