Empirehouse is proud be the Architectural Glass and Metal Contractor for the Target Center renovation project and work with Mortenson Construction and Alliance Architects to transform the closed-off concrete structure into a modern and inviting light-filled space.
Approximately fifty percent of the specialty glass and glazing have been completed on the Target Center renovation project which includes twelve heavy-tempered folding and sliding wall systems with swinging doors; twenty five all-glass entrances at the suite level; approximately 500 lineal feet of all-glass drink railing; approximately 600 square feet of interior glass partition; approximately 4,500 total lineal feet of aluminum cover replacement on an existing exterior curtainwall system; a curtainwall replacement along Sixth Street, and the premiere three-story light-filled glass atrium curtainwall on the corner of First Avenue and Sixth Street downtown Minneapolis.
Twenty five all-glass entrances at the suite level.

Remaining Architectural Glass and Metal work includes:
- An overall exterior glass scope of approximately 13,500 total square feet
- A decorative glass wall in the Courtside Club
- Interior glass hand railings
- Interior glass floor
- Forms and surfaces
- Locker room decorative glass shower doors
- A skyway
- Box office with bullet resistant glass
