2017 marks the 19th consecutive year that the Empirehouse John M. Griffith, Sr. Memorial (JMG) Award has been presented.
The JMG Award is selected by employee ballot and presented to an extraordinary employee who exhibits the Empirehouse core values of teamwork, innovative, and going above and beyond, as well as leadership and dedication to process improvement, communication, and quality control. The JMG Award was created in 1999 to honor the late Empirehouse co-founder John Griffith, Sr. who held these important employee attributes close to his heart.
This year, Empirehouse leadership announced the JMG Award winner and three runners up—all four employees who exhibit leadership, dedication and the Empirehouse core values. Congratulations to Leslie Price who became the 2017 recipient of the John M. Griffith, Sr. Memorial Award at this year’s Empirehouse Holiday Party.
Leslie began her employment with Empirehouse in 2015 as an Estimator. She has also shown great teamwork and going above and beyond by immersing herself in other roles within the company where ever help is needed—including working weekends and overtime. In receiving the JMG Award, Leslie said, “I want to formally thank everyone that voted for me. I am humbled, grateful, proud, and honored to receive this award. Thank you to the amazing Team/Family!”
Runners up were Safety & Quality Manager Jake Reining, Glazing Foreman Dan Weis, and Project Assistant Rachel Yechout.
Congratulations to Leslie on receiving this honor.
