IDS Building Curtainwall

The Oakridge Conference Center (formerly known as the IDS Learning Center), located in Chaska, Minnesota, features a complex 184′ x 43′ large-scale serpentine curtainwall that overlooks the wetlands and walking paths.  This curtainwall includes four radius turns and is a two-sided butt-glazed system which was drawn on board the old fashioned way long before today’s time-saving technologies of Revit, Auto CAD, and BIM.

In addition to the conference and office curtainwall glazing on the remainder of the building, Empirehouse furnished and installed the aluminum entrance doors and operable windows for 147 guest rooms in the three-story guest wings.
