Summit Orthopedic

Summit Orthopedics recently opened their third location in Eagan, MN just minutes from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport for the convenience of out-state patients.

Empirehouse teamed with RJM Construction and Architect Welsh Companies as the architectural glass and metal contractor for the Summit Orthopedics project in Eagan, MN.

Glazing beneath the continuous stream of roaring jets taking off and landing from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, the Empirehouse Glaziers wondered if this project’s location had been planned. Sure enough Summit Orthopedics made a strategic decision to build their third location near the airport to cater to out-state patients.

To buffer the jet engines flying overhead, the Empirehouse glazing team safely installed nearly a thousand square feet of heavy-duty, triple-glazed glass lites.

In addition, the glazing team installed nine aluminum curtainwall systems, a storefront system, punched windows and entrance doors totally a glass area of approximately 9,000 square feet.
